If you enter through another entrance and try to get into the graduate and professional student section, you will be asked to leave and get a wristband. You will then be sent to the end of the graduate and professional student line.
Graduate and professional students without a ticket can join the walk-up line by presenting a valid Duke ID (or Spouse ID) at the Bostock Gate ticket office. You must obtain a wristband at the Bostock Gate ticket office in order to join the walk-up line. Students in the walk-up line are not guaranteed admission. Students in the walk-up line may not bring guests.
The game against Eastern Michigan will feature a '1-brings-4' guest promotion. This means that a ticket holder with a valid Duke ID can request up to 4 additional guests. Note that guest tickets are limited in number: once they have all been claimed, additional guest tickets will not be made available. Though guests do not need to be current Duke students, they must be 18 years of age or older. Guests must be accompanied by a ticket bearing graduate or professional student in order to obtain a wristband. Guests are never guaranteed admission into Cameron.
Be sure to claim only as many guest tickets as you intend to use. Ticket holders with guests must arrive by 6:15 PM. No exceptions. Guests without Duke IDs will not be allowed in the walk-up line. Guests are responsible to uphold all community standards and ticket usage policies set forth by the Basketball Committee, Duke University Athletics Association, and Duke University.
Instructions for Claiming Guest Tickets
Visit the ‘Game Day Information’ page on the Basketball Committee website. At the top of the page, click the link corresponding to the number of guest tickets you wish to claim. Once you arrive on the event page, click the gray 'Select' button, make sure the quantity in the dropdown menu matches the desired number of guest tickets, and then click the green ‘Find Seats’ button.
Next, select ‘Complimentary Grad Student Guest’ in the Ticket Type dropdown menu for each guest ticket. Then, be sure to select ‘Print at Home’ (NOT ‘Will Call’) for the Shipping Method and click the green ‘Confirm Reservation’ button. The ‘Print at Home’ option will afford you access to a PDF version of your guest tickets you can use even if you don’t intend to actually print them.
After confirming your reservation you should be taken to a summary of your order. If this list is blank, go back and make sure you have selected ‘Complimentary Grad Student Guest’ for each guest ticket in the previous step. If you see the correct number of guest tickets on this page, click the green ‘Confirm Order’ button. On the next page, click the green ‘Process Order’ button. You should receive an on-screen message indicating your order is now complete.
You will then receive an email receipt with a PDF attachment containing your guest tickets. Note that neither the confirmation message nor the receipt will be sufficient for entry to Cameron. Please make sure you have access to each barcoded guest ticket when you and your guests arrive at the Bostock Gate ticket office to receive your wristbands.
Guest Ticket Issues: We are aware of persistent issues many of you have experienced trying to claim guest tickets this season. We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused you and thank you for your patience as we've worked to address them. After reviewing the cases reported during the preseason, it appears that most of these issues simply require that we flag your ticket account for attention from the ticket office. If you experience technical difficulties claiming guest tickets for Wednesday's game, please email us so we can get you taken care of. Emailing us will not be sufficient to reserve guest tickets.
-Bags of any kind are not allowed in our section, including but not limited to: purses, backpacks, clutches, fanny packs, gym bags, and camera bags. You will not be allowed to receive a wristband if you are carrying a bag. If you do arrive with a bag, you can take advantage of the complimentary bag check in the Scott Family Athletic Performance Center lobby.
-Other prohibited items include: outside food and drink, water bottles, umbrellas, and cameras with lenses longer than four inches.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about game day procedures.
